9 Tips me-Manage Memory Internal BlackBerry

Salah satu kelemahan dari BlackBerry adalah kita  tidak bisa menginstall aplikasi di dalam Media Card kecuali pakai aplikasi Aerize Card Loader. (Sekarang hanya support BlackBerry OS4)

Oleh karena itu, kita harus me-manage memory internal BlackBerry kita dengan baik.

Berikut beberapa tips bagaimana me-manage memory BlackBerry :

1. Hapus (delete) semua messages yang tidak penting,

baik itu email atau sms/mms. Email dengan  attachment yang besar usahakan dibuka & dibaca hanya melalui PC saja.

2. Hapus (delete) browser cache.
Caranya:
> buka browser
> klik menu bb
> klik options
> klik cache operations
> klik clear history

3. Tutup semua conversation yang tidak pentingaplikasi Chat

seperti di BlackBerry Messenger, YM, GT, MSN, dan lain-lain serta biasakan “clear chat” semua conversation jika sudah tidak diperlukan lagi.

4. Hapus (delete) cache di aplikasi FB.
Caranya:
> buka FB
> klik menu BB
> klik options
> klik clear cache

5. Hapus (delete) semua miss calls.
Caranya:
> buka  “messages”
> klik menu BB
> klik view folder
> klik missed calls
> klik menu
> Klik delete prior

6. Hapus (delete) phone call logs.
Caranya:
> buka  “messages”
> klik menu
> klik view folder
> klik phone call log
> klik menu
> klik delete prior

7. Hapus (delete) event log.
Caranya:
> dari Home Screen tahan tombol alt
> lalu klik hurur L G L G
> lalu tekan menu BB
> klik clear log

8. Bersihkan temp memory.
Caranya:
> buka  “options (yang gambar obeng/kunci pas)”
> klik security options
> klik memory cleaning
> klik menu BB
> klik clean now
> klik save

9. Biasakan picture yang dikirim ke BBM group tidak disimpan

di media card atau device memory BlackBerry
Caranya:
> buka BBM group
> klik pictures
> klik menu BB
> klik picture options
> klik save pictures pilih “never”
> klik Ok

Jangan lupa close semua aplikasi yang masih running pada saat Anda multi-tasking. Tekan menu BB sampai list aplikasi yang berjalan tampil, buka aplikasi yang tidak pakai lagi, klik menu BB dan pilih exit/close. Anda bisa gunakan aplikasi BeAlert untuk menunjukan icon notifikasi berapa aplikasi masih aktif/running.

BlackBerry merasa lemot, lambat, error, selalu keluar jam pasir? BlackBerry Device loading lama setiap restart? Waktunya untuk negcek dan lakukan maintenance BlackBerry anda.

Hal ini terjadi, salah satunya karena banyaknya file ‘sampah’ di memory device kita yang menghabiskan application memory BlackBerry device anda. Penyebabnya :

• Conversation yang tidak ditutup (BBM, YM, Gtalk, dll.)
• Memori ‘history’ di browser yang jarang dihapus
• Memori ‘log event’
• Aplikasi yang dibuka bersamaan terlalu banyak, dll.
• Application Memory Low

Solusinya adalah berikut:

1. Cache Cleaning:
Masuk ke browser — Tekan logo BB, Pilih Options , Pilih Cache Operations, Tekan ke 4 tombol clear ,  Selesai
2. Event Log Cleaning Homescreen
Tekan tombol ALT (tahan), Tekan huruf L-G-L-G (secara berurutan), Tekan LogoBB , Pilih clear log, Delete, Selesai
3. Memory Cleaner Options
Buka Security Options,  Memory Cleaning,  Status disabled diubah menjadi enabled,  Perhatikan 4 baris dibawah menu memory cleaning, terdapat tulisan ’show icon on home screen’ tekan dan ubah ‘no’ menjadi ‘Yes’,  Tekan tombol return (panah memutar) lalu save changes,  Kembali ke ‘homescreen’ dan cari ikon baru memory cleaner (iconnya mirip gambar printer),  klik ,  selesai

4. Tutup Aplikasi yang terbuka
Setiap anda membuka aplikasi, akan menggunakan memory aplikasi anda. Untuk tutup aplikasi anda harus tekan tombol “return” (tombol panah yang sebelah power) Jika anda tekan tombol power, anda “hanya” melakukan switch aplikasi dan tidak tutup aplikasi.
Hal tersebut bisa di cek dengan tekan dan hold tombol BB sampai layar “switch application” tampil yang menampilkan semua aplikasi yang masih aktif. Setiap aplkasi yang masih aktif menghabiskan application memory.
Anda bisa gunakan aplikasi BeAlert untuk menunjukan icon notifikasi berapa aplikasi masih aktif/running.
5. Save “Applications Memory” dan Delete Apps & Messages

Hapuskan seluruh aplikasi dan pesan yang tidak berguna termasuk delete email, SMS, MMS dan end BBM chats, Group chats dan aplikasi chats lainnya yang menggunakan application memory. Jika anda masih menggunakan OS4, anda bisa gunakan aplikasi Aerize Card Loader untuk save aplikasi ke memory card.

6. Soft Reset

7. Hard Reset
Biasa dikenal pula dengan istilah cabut baterai. 4. Cek dulu harga dari barang yang akan anda beli, apakah harganya sesuai dengan pasaran atau tidak. Hal ini mencegah anda rugi karena anda bisa membeli barang yang lebih mahal dari situs sebelah. Jika barang itu lebih murah, mungkin anda bisa memilihnya.


5. Mintalah kontak dari penjual, misalnya ada penipuan maka anda bisa menghubungi pemilik website untuk melacak penjual itu, atau jika ada masalah dalam pengiriman atau pembayaran, anda bisa menghubungi penjual.


6. Jika anda masih ragu, sebaiknya anda jangan dulu membeli barang itu.
